I am a Mississippi-based artist who works primarily in digital print media and installation. I create work that focuses on archetypes, narratives, dichotomies, and the ways they are in conversation with various aspects of the world we live in. Currently, I am focusing on how the dichotomy of watching and being watched interact with each other when viewed at various points of intersection between surveillance and narratives. Previously, I used archetypes to showcase the hollowing consequences of basing a sense of identity around a singular, stagnant point of interest rather than allowing said identity to be a complex, dynamic web of complex traits, skills, and desires.
I am currently working on a BFA in Jackson, MS.
